Who Knew?
Woooo!
It’s 9:30pm and I just cleaned my whole house. I’m not real sure where my sudden burst of energy came from but I’m sure glad it came. Today wasn’t very stressful. However, my morning didn’t start out the best. While I was minding my own business and making my coffee… I spilt it EVERYWHERE. And I don’t mean a cup of coffee.. I mean the container of...
Whew.
It’s been a lonnnnngggg week. My schedule this semester is already kicking my butt. (Is it May yet?) I think I went to bed around 9ish every night. My Anatomy class is so fun but so fast paced. My brain hurts when I think about the next class.
But…. I didn’t write this post just to complain about everything… I wanted to share a quote that I love:
“If God brings you...
spencerpaige asked: oh nothing, just want you to know that your amazing and one of MY heroes, for many reasons, but mostly because your the sweetest, kindest, most genuine person i know and i can always count on you to be honest and have everyone's best interest at heart. your beautiful inside and out and i'm so glad there are actually people like you in the world, but i'm more glad that you are a part...
Just In Case You Were Wondering....
I feel like I should explain to you the reason that I still haven’t obtained a degree. (It kinda makes me laugh to say obtained.) I was folding towels and realized that people probably wonder why I haven’t gotten into a program or graduated yet. (Sidenote 1: Also while folding towels I realized that we go through more towels a week than 2 people should. Im starting to come to the...

One Week Down.
Okay, so.
This past week school started back. I have an awful schedule. Well - to most people it wouldn’t be bad because all of my classes start pretty late. No 8am classes this semester! I’m not a fan of it because it’s all over the place. I have morning classes, classes after lunch and night classes. I’ve been running here there and yonder (my roots are coming out) this...
30 Things to Stop Doing to Yourself.
A friend of mine shared this link on facebook. I read all of it… twice. Once was while I was waiting to drop and add a class at school today. Waiting for like 30 minutes when I didn’t really have 30 minutes to waste. That’s a different story….
Anywho. Instead of copying and pasting (cause I’m too tired for that) Here’s the link:...

I Wanna be a Pioneer Woman...
I just need to make a quick post about my new obsession.
I stumbled across a website…
Now I can’t get off of it. Thank you, Pinterest.
But really. This woman is my hero. Her website has everything.
Recipes.
Pictures.
Funny Blogs.
Tutorials.
I could go on and on and on and on and on… But I won’t.
So I suggest that you go check it out.
You’re welcome.

Recently a friend’s little brother discovered that he had a large tumor in his chest and since has been through ongoing surgeries and procedures. Please keep Josh and his entire family in your prayers. Above is the link to the Caring Bridge website!
6 days later.. Ooops!
I didn’t mean to go 6 days without posting! I’m trying to do it AT LEAST every other day. However this past week was my birthday week. At the beginning of the week I had bad allergies problems going on. I couldn’t breathe or hardly swallow. It was not fun at all! My birthday was on Wed. and I went out with my family and Z’s family to Firebirds for dinner. The very first...
January 2nd? Already?
Well Happy New Years! — Can’t believe I haven’t posted since last year ;) Can’t believe it’s January 2nd. The year is flying by already!
We had a good New Years. I taught C how to jump off the couch and “jump into the new year” and bang pots and pans at midnight. I think she thought I was crazy but my mama has always done it so I’m carrying on the...

New Years Eve-Eve.
Last night we helped someone find their lost dog. She was running around in the bottoms behind our house and all I could hear was her collar. She wouldn’t come to me (even though I tried to make casual conversation.) Finally we found the owners and they got her home safely. I would expect someone to help me if I lost a dog so I always make it a point to help! Last good deed of 2011! Well, I...
Goodbye 2011.
Looking back on 2011 it was definitely a good year. There were ups and downs, there were firsts and lasts, and there were hellos and goodbyes. There’s way too much to say about the year in general, so here’s a summary of my year in pictures :)
January — 80’s party.
February — Jason Aldean/Eric Church Concert
March — Learned how to shoot an AR-15

I used my new crock pot today to make a Venison Roast. Growing up I hardly EVER ate Venison. However my boyfriend did and he loves it. I made it mostly for him but also to experiment with the crock pot. It turned out pretty good. Next time I’ll definitely use a thicker marinade to cook it in to rule out the ‘gamey’ taste. I also got new Paula Deen cookware for Christmas so this...
